Beverly Cattell Dennis comes to the gallery from Hattiesburg where she teaches in the Jones County Junior College
Art Department.  She studied at University of Mississippi (M.F.A.), University of Southern Mississippi (M.A.E.), Southern Methodist University (B.S.), Memphis College of Art and the Corcoran School of Art.  She has exhibited her work extensively since 1985 from North Carolina to California to Texas to Louisiana, Mississippi, Virginia...
Beverly is represented by galleries in California, Lousiana and Mississippi and says of her work:

"I find it harder and harder to comment on my work. The paintings are personal experiences
for me, and therefore carry a sense of place and time. I simply love to paint. I love
the colors and the outdoor experience. If this is evident to other people when they see
them, then I am glad. But honestly, if it is not evident, I will still paint."
