A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Cathy Fonda is a free-lance interior and floral designer and a self taught artist.  She enjoys a thick built-up surface of paint and experiments with color, texture and shape.  Her subjects range from landscapes, abstracts, still-life and occasionally people. She paints on the pine floors of her kitchen and in the company of her two huge Labrador retrievers.  As an interior designer, she believes that art can define a room and transform a house into a home.

Her recent accomplishments include a one-woman show at the Alluvian Hotel in Greenwood.
