Light surrounds us; illuminating our existence as it filters through
clouds, trees, and eyelids. It plays across our skin and
shimmers on the paths we choose to follow. The colors we perceive
shift, change, distort, and define our world as light passes
overhead and in that passing, invites mysterious shadows to dance.
Time is marked by this dance.
Terri Hester Cribb works

using Oils, Watercolors, and Pastels to create color-saturated
impressionistic paintings that evoke an ethereal, dream-like
mystique. These paintings depict and explore fleeting layers of
light and color as observed with visual imparity. Her subjects are
usually of places seen or of events remembered. Some paintings
incorporate images created from imagination and dreams. Mrs. Cribb
earned a B.A. in Fine Arts from Huntingdon College in Montgomery,
Alabama and has continued her artistic education through workshops
and travel. Terri is a member of the Mississippi Art Colony and her
artwork is located in private and corporate art collections both
nationally and internationally. Terri currently teaches art to
children and adults, and lives in Madison, Mississippi.
